Global Initiative for Waste Incineration
Piling up residual waste in landfills does not solve any problem and places a burden on future generations. Instead, this initiave is a call to make it mandatory to convert residual waste into energy by using state-of the art waste-to-energy incineration plants. In other words, a global ban on permanent landfills, landfills only to be used for temporary storage until incineration.
