Moratorium on New Coal, Gas and Oil Bill 2022
Amends the: Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 to: prohibit environmental approvals of new coal, gas and oil projects; revoke existing environmental approvals of coal, gas and oil projects that haven't commenced; and prohibit new petroleum exploration permits being granted or renewed in Commonwealth waters and cancel current petroleum exploration permits; and Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006 to prohibit petroleum production licences being granted or renewed in Commonwealth waters and cancel current petroleum licences where petroleum recovery operations have not commenced.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r6849
