Excise Tariff Amendment (Cost of Living Support) Bill 2022
Introduced with the Treasury Laws Amendment (Cost of Living Support and Other Measures) Bill 2022 and Customs Tariff Amendment (Cost of Living Support) Bill 2022, the bill amends the Excise Tariff Act 1921 to reduce the excise duty rates for fuels, including petrol and diesel and similar petroleum-based products, including oils and grease by 50 per cent for a six-month period from 30 March to 28 September 2022.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r6870
