Customs Legislation Amendment (Controlled Trials and Other Measures) Bill 2022
Amends the: Customs Act 1901 to establish a framework to facilitate time-limited trials of trade and customs practices and technologies, with approved entities, in a controlled regulatory environment; Australian Border Force Act 2015 to provide that the Comptroller-General of Customs' powers to make rules in relation to controlled trials cannot be delegated; and Customs Act 1901, Customs Regulations 2015 and Customs Tariff Act 1995 to make technical amendments to customs legislation, including to provide that Notices of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations will not be subject to disallowance under the Legislation Act 2003.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r6952
