Parliamentary Workplace Support Service Bill 2023
Introduced with the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2023, the bill gives effect to recommendations of the Australian Human Rights Commission’s Set the Standard: Report on the Independent Review into Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces by establishing the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service as an independent statutory agency to provide human resources and certain other services for parliamentarians and persons employed under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984.
