Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2025 (Bill 53 of 2025)
An Act to provide for the making of applications for licences, or applications for reviews of licences, under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 or under Part V of the Waste Management Act 1996 in certain emergency circumstances; to give effect to Articles 1(3) and 2(4) of Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2011 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment, as amended by Directive 2014/52/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014, in relation to applications for, or applications for reviews of, such licences; to make provision in relation to periods for decision-making relating to certain applications for, and reviews of, such licences; to enable the Environmental Protection Agency to carry out reviews of parts of licences under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 or under Part V of the Waste Management Act 1996 in certain circumstances; for those and other purposes to amend the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 and the Waste Management Act 1996; to provide for the making of guidance and criteria in relation to green public procurement; to make provision in relation to the reporting by certain public bodies on the integration of green public procurement criteria into procurement processes; for those and other purposes to amend the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022; and to provide for related matters.oireachtas.ie/en/bills/bill/2025/53/
