Knox Class Action (Facilitation) Bill 2026
Amends the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013, Social Security Act 1991 and Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 to exempt settlement payments made to members of the Knox & Anor v Commonwealth of Australia & Ors class action from Commonwealth compensation recovery and income testing provisions that would ordinarily apply to lump sum compensation payments.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r7539
